Wolf Creek

"I lived in Wolf Creek in the early 80's. I lived in the old ranch house of the now defunct LY ranch. I was in the bedroom and saw an apparition walk by the door. There was a wall there and a laundry chute. Across was the bathroom door. This 'thing' just walked through the wall. It really didn't look like a real person, just a whitish filmy ghost. I said something to my ex and he was not too happy about it. So, I called my mother-in-law, Shirley and asked her about it. She said, 'Oh, you saw it too.' It didn't feel threatening at all. It was just there. Above the ranch there were three graves. They were the original owners of that ranch area and a daughter. Possibly it was the old ranch owner. The one thing that I was extremely curious about was what appeared to be an old grave a few miles from the house. It had an indentation about 5-6 feet long and three feet wide. This was a strong Indian area at one time. What was it? Who was it? Don't know. Would have liked to find out. Maybe that was the ghost." (Submitted by Cherri)
