Try Your Hand at Ghost Hunting (Photos and EVPs) This Weekend in Helena

More info on the event in Helena on this coming Saturday, May 30, as part of the Helena History Fair, 10 am- 6 pm...all kinds of history-associated events: re-enactments, actors, cavalry with horses, vendors, music, dancers, etc. Ghost stuff is just one small part of it.

Ellen Baumler and I will be giving a talk from 1:00-1:30 p.m. at the Anchor Park Bandstand (by the Helena Library downtown) – "Montana's Haunted History and Folklore: A Conversation with Ellen Baumler and Lance Foster", with audience question and answer time

I will also be stationed in front of the Windbag, and wandering a bit occasionally, from 10 am - 6 pm, except for the 1-1:30 event with Ellen.

Also, Haunted Helena Ghost Walk – Lance Foster takes you through the basement of the Windbag Saloon & Grill (see scheduled times). Try your hand at ghost-hunting and learn a little about the Windbag, said to be haunted by many over the years. Bring your camera to photograph orbs and tape recorders to try your hand at listening for EVPs in the basement. Maximum groups of 10 per tour – please sign up ahead at the Windbag, first come, first served.

The times for the Windbag basement jaunts will be:
Each will be limited to 10 people each time; no charge (though tips will be gratefully accepted if you are so moved!)

And of course the Helena Ghost Walk is back in operation, as at was last year around Halloween, but now throughout the summer as well. I had three folks call me this week and it was pretty good...we even had lightning for the last couple of stories! (No I didn't arrange it :-) ) I actually think the smaller groups are better...easier to talk among ourselves and set up the right mood.

For more info on either the ghost events next weekend or for the regular Helena Ghost Walk, call me at 406-422-5911
